Brooke elected Delaware County Commissioners president

The Delaware County Commissioners reorganized for the new year Monday. Democrats John Brooke and Larry Bledsoe were elected president and vice president, respectively. The Democrats also announced department heads, including Steve Knote as highway superintendent and Steve Murphy as county attorney. Many other department heads were retained from the previous commissioners board. Meanwhile the county council elected Democrat Brad Bookout as president and Democrat Mary Chambers as vice president. Donald Dunnuck was named as the councils attorney.
