Water rates are headed up in East Central Indiana communities served by Indiana-American water company. The firm has reached an agreement with the Indiana Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor that sets a 9.9 per cent rate hike. This is less than the 18.1 per cent increase the company had sought. The increase once approved with add about $2.50 a month to the monthly flat water rate of $25.14.
