There has been yet another fatal accident at the intersection of Centennial Avenue and the Muncie Bypass. Barbara Nelson of Eaton was killed Saturday afternoon. The crash happened when her husband turing into the path of an SUV driven by Jerry Hardgrove of New Castle. The impact of the crash was at the front passenger side door where Barbara Nelson was located in the vehicle. Nelson was wearing a seat belt, as were the other drivers involved in the fatal wreck. Delaware County Coroner James Clevenger has stated it has been a terrible year for fatalities in the county. 30 people have lost their lives and that is more than double the total from last year.

A Middletown woman who used the synthetic marijuana called “Spice” before dying this summer, didn’t die because of that.
