Technology Jobs Possibly Coming to Muncie
24.12.07An unidentified out of state technology company could bring hundreds of jobs to Muncie. Up to 350 jobs could be created, with pay rates as much as $50,000 according to officials. Terry Murphy of the Economic Development Alliance declined to provide more specific details. It’s thought that Muncie’s recent listing in surveys of low cost residential housing might have been a factor in getting the unnamed company to look at the city.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
