An employee of the The Family Dollar store at 1904 North Walnut Street was held up about 10:40 a.m. Monday morning. The robbers were described as two black males of average height and heavy build. They left the scene in a brown car. Police are searched to area to no avail. Soon after the robbery, Delaware County Emergency Medical Service units were dispatched to the store, on a report of a female suffering shortness of breath EMS was disregarded by the patient when they arrived. The employee robbed yesterday was the same one robbed and shot in robbery at the same store in December.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
