Assistant School Principal Terminated in Anderson

The Anderson Community Schools board voted last night to fire Albert Young as assistant principal of Highland High School. He had been charged with stalking a teacher at the school. Although the board took that action, Young’s attorney indicated the matter will be headed to court. The school system refused any further comment on the action at this point.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
02.02.12A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County. The victim — whose name had not been released late Wednesday pending notification of relatives — was pronounced dead at the scene by Delaware County Coroner Scott Hahn.
