A rural New Castle man has admitted he killed his grandmother in a house they shared. Greg Galloway killed his grandmother, Eva Groves, in October of 2007. Doctors who examined Galloway say he suffers from a “mental disease or defect.” His next day in court will be October 6th.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
