Delaware County Commissioners Working to Ban CAFOs

The Delaware County Commissioners have taken the first step on banning CAFOs in the county. The Commissioners took the action because because efforts by the Muncie-Delaware County Planning Commission to regulate CAFOs have failed. A final vote on the ordinance will take place at the Commissioners meeting scheduled for September 2nd.

South Madison Schools to Reorganize
21.11.08The South Madison Community Schools are reorganizing and reassigning students. The plan is to relocate 25 percent of Maple Ridge Elementary School students to Pendleton Elementary School. Various options are under consideration. They were the work of parents who met in three meetings in October and November to discuss redistricting.
