Middletown Man Murdered

A Middletown man is dead, the victim of an apparent homicide yesterday afternoon. Dead is Michael Patterson. He was found dead at home by his wife when she returned from her teaching job. Crime scene units were at the house late last night. Police officials said Patterson suffered severe traumatic injuries to his upper body. He worked at Anderson’s Mounds State Park. The investigation is continuing.

South Madison Schools to Reorganize
21.11.08The South Madison Community Schools are reorganizing and reassigning students. The plan is to relocate 25 percent of Maple Ridge Elementary School students to Pendleton Elementary School. Various options are under consideration. They were the work of parents who met in three meetings in October and November to discuss redistricting.
