It’s now thought the death of a Middletown man might have been due to an interrupted burgulary. Michael Patterson was found dead in his home Monday afternoon. His wife indicated jewelry was missing from the house. There was also evidence of damage to the front door of the house, indicating a possible break-in. At or about the same time, there were other burgularies, including two in Henry County, one in Madison County and one in Delaware County.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
