Delaware County Surveyor Under Investigation

Delaware County Surveyor John Kelly is the subject of an investigation. At issue is whether he authorized payments for work that was never actually done. However, Kelly denies any wrongdoing. However, State Board of Accounts auditors accused Kelly of paying contractors almost $40,000 for work the auditors said was never performed. Involved are four public projects, including ditch clearings and a log jam removal.

South Madison Schools to Reorganize
21.11.08The South Madison Community Schools are reorganizing and reassigning students. The plan is to relocate 25 percent of Maple Ridge Elementary School students to Pendleton Elementary School. Various options are under consideration. They were the work of parents who met in three meetings in October and November to discuss redistricting.
