Plea from Mayor Does Not Save New Castle Starbucks

Although New Castle Mayor Jim Small wrote a letter to the CEO of Starbuck’s, the New Castle location is still closing. The exact date has not been determined. The New Castle store is one of 600 which are shutting down nationwide.

South Madison Schools to Reorganize
21.11.08The South Madison Community Schools are reorganizing and reassigning students. The plan is to relocate 25 percent of Maple Ridge Elementary School students to Pendleton Elementary School. Various options are under consideration. They were the work of parents who met in three meetings in October and November to discuss redistricting.
