Heavy Voter Turnout for Advance Voting

Twelve percent of Madison County voters have already cast their ballots, prior to the start of election day voting. In Delaware County, over 10,009 voters had cast their ballots as of Saturday. The interest in today’s election is unprecedented. Polls opened at 6:00 a.m. and will remain open until 6:00 p.m. today.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
02.02.12A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
