Local Option Income Tax May be Adopted Tonight in Henry County

Adopting a local option income tax could come to a vote in today’s Henry County council meeting. The meeting will begin an hour after the vote on the 2009 budget, which is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today. In a workshop on Monday, council members cut about $400,000 from the 2008 and 2009 budgets, which department heads had said were already tight.

Bank Robbery in Muncie
02.07.09An unidentified man robbed the Star Financial Bank in Lyndenbrook place yesterday at 9:30am. Police say the suspect is a six foot tall black male that weighed about 250 pounds. No suspect was found, but the police are checking the banks surveillance video for clues.
