The Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce had its annual meeting Tuesday evening at the Horizon Convention Center, reviewing the past year in economic development and honoring local businesses and individuals. According to the Star-Press, the chamber’s Spirit of Small Business Award was given to Animal Medical Center, a Yorktown-area veterinary clinic that rebuilt and relocated after an Ind. 32 widening project displaced the business. An unidentified man robbed the Star Financial Bank in Lyndenbrook place yesterday at 9:30am. Police say the suspect is a six foot tall black male that weighed about 250 pounds. No suspect was found, but the police are checking the banks surveillance video for clues.
