The Anderson Fire Department currently has a food drive in progress. APD started a holiday food drive this month, which will continue through Christmas, collecting food to give to Anderson’s Operation Love to make holiday food baskets for families in need. The drive, however, has had a slow start. Those who want to help can drop off food donations at any city fire station. Drop off hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
