Hamilton Heights students will find faster computers, video streaming in all of their classrooms and friendlier technology for their parents to reach teachers in the fall.
Fiber optics linking about a three-mile stretch from the high school to the middle school will be installed along the railroad in Arcadia.  The School Board Tuesday agreed to pay $125 annually to the Hoosier Heritage Port Authority to lease the land on which the fiber is installed.  The money will come from the district’s capital projects fund and is related to the $4.3 million renovation and improvement project bond also approved Tuesday.
