The Herald Bulletin is reporting that Dr. Paul Connett likes to travel the world to talk about environmental sustainability and the evils of incinerating trash. Such as the unit that might be placed in Madison County. Tonight he will talk to Anderson residents in a public forum about the proposed laser incineration plant scheduled for construction on the city’s south side. He was summoned by the environmental group Hoosiers for a Safe Environment — which he accepted pro bono because, he said, he promotes sustainability of the environment

An unidentified man robbed the Star Financial Bank in Lyndenbrook place yesterday at 9:30am. Police say the suspect is a six foot tall black male that weighed about 250 pounds. No suspect was found, but the police are checking the banks surveillance video for clues.
The Richmond Common Council voted to pass a new sanitary sewer rate increase and an increase in the city’s storm water fee this past Monday Night.
