OIL STADIUM IN INDIANAPOLIS AND NOTRE DAME STADIUM NEAR SOUTH BEND AS
POSSIBLE VENUES FOR THE WORLD CUP OF SOCCER. THE ORGANIZATION IS PREPARING A
FORMAL BID TO HOST THE GLOBAL EVENT IN 2018 OR 2022. THE TWO INDIANA VENUES
ARE ON A LIST OF 70 POTENTIAL SITES.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
