Pendleton Correctional Industrial Facility has a new program which allows well-behaved offenders to take care of homeless cats in the prison. The six inmates will care for the animals and socialize with them, so the animals will be ready for permanent homes.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
02.02.12A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
