Anderson Lions Family Festival

The opening night of the Anderson Lions Family Festival was to be a celebration at its new location at the Anderson Speedway, but plunging temperatures, bursts of rain and strong gusts of wind caused many fairgoers to head back to the car. The Anderson Noon Lions Club chose to partner with the Anderson Speedway to give residents a completely new festival experience, and allowed festival organizers to offer racing events along with fair food and kid friendly rides.

Haiti Fundraiser Sunday at Grace United Methodist Church
12.03.10Members of the community are invited to attend a fundraiser dinner, Sunday from 11:30 to 1:30p, Fellowship Hall, Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City. Members of the church will be serving a pork loin dinner with all the trimmings. Free will donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go to Haiti Relief.
