Chesterfield Woman Killed in Strawtown Accident

65 year old Jewel McCord of Chesterfield died in Strawtown on Tuesday where her 2003 Infiniti collided with a dump truck filled with sand on State Road 37 at about 2:45pm. McCord had failed to yield the right of way at the intersection at State Road 37 and Strawtown Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
