Elkhart police are on the lookout for a person who has been counterfeiting money and spending the fake money at local businesses. Elkhart police have recovered almost 15 hundred dollars in fake bills that have been spent at gas stations, fast food restaurants, and night clubs. The Lt. of the Elkhart Police has asked all businesses to check all currency for authenticity.

Members of the community are invited to attend a fundraiser dinner, Sunday from 11:30 to 1:30p, Fellowship Hall, Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City. Members of the church will be serving a pork loin dinner with all the trimmings. Free will donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go to Haiti Relief.
