Grand Opening Of New Fire Station

The Summitville Firefighters will host the Grand Opening of their new fire station this Saturday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 3pm, and a chicken noodle dinner will be served from 4 to 7:30pm. Tickets are 6 dollars for adults, and the dinner will at the new firestation located at 813 East Mill Street.

SOCIAL SECURITY FRAUD CHARGES
03.09.10A New Castle woman has been arrested on three charges of Social Security fraud. 49-year old Viola Whalen is accused of receiving benefit payments for one of her children whose father had died.
