Indiana Health Commissioner Judy Monroe expects the spread of the H1N1 flu virus to worsen in Indian by the start of fall. Monroe says even if the severity of the virus isn’t greater, the virus will still spread because of the cool weather and flu season. A resident of Dearborn County died from complications related to the H1N1 virus, which was the first death linked to the virus in Indiana.
