26-Year-Old-Grudge Causes man to Try and Kill a State Legislator

Augustus Mendenhall, 38, appeared via closed-circuit television Monday in Hamilton County court where his bond was set at $3 million for being accused of trying to kill a state legislator last week, apparently over a 26-year-old grudge. It was set so high because Mendenhall doesn’t have an Indiana address and is considered a flight risk.
