50 New Jobs Coming to Indiana

An automotive supplier in Elkhart plans to add 50 jobs by 2012. Kem Krest says it is investing $3.3 million to expand its headquarters. The 30-year-old company currently employs more than 50 and plans to add warehouse, operations and administrative workers.

Hearing Today for Employee Who Shot UP a State Office
10.03.10The employee who shot up a state office in portage is scheduled to appear in court today for an initial hearing. The shooting happened Friday at the Indiana department of workforce development office. 60-year-old Edgar Tillery faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
I 465 Crash Stopped Traffic
10.03.10A three-vehicle crash on I-465 on the north side of Indianapolis shut down all eastbound lanes of traffic. State police say the interstate remained closed until after 9 p.m. while repairs are made to the roadway, which was damaged in the crash.
