A Yorktown man will stand trial for a second time in February on accusations he yanked false teeth from the mouth of an adversary. 64-year-old Robert Stahl was found guilty of battery by a Muncie judge last may. Because city court, with limited jurisdiction, is not a court of “record,” Stahl pursued an option of having the case brought to trial again, this time in Delaware circuit court. Stahl is accused of extracting the defendant‘s partial dental plate during a fight outside the man‘s home. In November 2007, Stahl pleaded guilty to pulling out — and then refusing to return — another man‘s full set of dentures.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
