Attorney told the Herald Bulletin that it is a “witch hunt” and is “politically motivated – referring to a state police investigation into Anderson City Councilman Rodney Chamberlain. The investigation began that last week included subpoenas for timecards from the Anderson city controller’s office and parks department, as well as records of payments to Chamberlain from North Side Middle School and the now-closed South Side Middle School.

After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
