Madison County Celebrate 100 Years of NAACP

The Madison County NAACP’s annual B. Harry Beckman Freedom Fund Banquet dinner was held Saturday, celebrating the organization’s 100th year. The organization awarded Anderson Mayor Kris Ockomon with its Citizen Award, given to someone who goes above and beyond with community service. Hoosier Park was also awarded for becoming a corporate member of the NAACP.
