State health officials say statistics indicate the H1N1 pandemic in Indiana may be stabilizing. The number of flu-like illnesses being reported in emergency rooms and primary care providers decreased over the last week compared to the previous week. Fewer schools reported large numbers of students being absent and the numbers of Hoosiers being hospitalized has dropped dramatically.

Center grove schools and the teachers union have reached a tentative contract agreement. Members are set to meet Monday to vote on the deal. Details of the agreement will not be released until Monday night.
Carmel officials say they have saved money in the past year. mayor Jim Brainerd says they saved 1.6 million dollars in it‘s general fund due to responsible spending. He says that left a cash balance of 9.9 million dollars. The city uses that money as an emergency fund.
