Blog check – Doug Zaleski posted on Saturday that San Diego State is in the process of hiring a new athletic director to replace Jeff Schemmel – the AD who hired former Ball State coach Brady Hoke. The NFL Chargers might leave San Diego. If they do, the city wouldn’t maintain Qualcomm Stadium – where the Aztecs also play, and if that were the case, San Diego State would have no place to play football, and likely would drop the sport.
