Fire In Mishawaka Causes Family To Lose Christmas Gifts

Authorities say a Mishawaka family lost their Christmas gifts Sunday in a fire that swept through their mobile home. The local chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family of four, which includes a 6-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl, with food and winter coats for the children. Investigators believe the fire was electrical in nature, and started in the ceiling of a spare bedroom.
