LifeStream is an award-winning, accredited non-profit organization that works to provide people with independent living options. The agency’s headquarters are in Yorktown with satellite offices in New Castle, Winchester, Portland, Marion, and Anderson. It’s Groundhog Day and at 7:25 a.m., Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. According to lore, we’ll get six more weeks of winter. A side note: Punxsutawney Phil has a 39% accuracy rate.
After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
