In Chesterfield, a late morning water main break has left most of the city’s residents without water. The break was discovered around 10:30 a.m. Sunday when a town resident saw water pooling at the intersection of Walnut and Pearl streets.

January Unemployment Rate Out
11.03.10Indiana’s unemployment rate for January is 9-point-7 percent, the same as the revised numbers for December. State department of workforce development commissioner Teresa Voors says the rate “appears to be holding relatively stable based on the slowing of job losses.” Indiana continues to have the lowest unemployment rate among neighboring states.
