A former Miss America is going to get something rocker john Mellencamp
didn’t…a street named for her. Jackson county road 400 east will be named
“Katie Stam road” in honor of Indiana’s first Miss America. A similar idea
to name a road in Seymour for Mellencamp never advanced.
