RETROACTIVE UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS

About 80-thousand Hoosiers who are eligible for federal unemployment benefits will be able to apply for retroactive benefits beginning August 3. The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says people who apply online for the benefits recently extended by Congress will get the money in about 48 hours if they apply between August 3-6.
