HELPING AN INJURED FIREFIGHTER

A Yorktown firefighter is recovering after suffering a broken leg while working at the Delaware County Fair. The injury to firefighter Chris Clairday’s leg was bad enough to require surgery—Clairday will be off his leg for up to 12 weeks. The Hideout Restaurant and Lounge in Yorktown is collecting cash donations to help offset the cost of his treatment. The Muncie Applebee’s will also do a fundraiser for the firefighter on August 9.

Officer Released From Hospital; Visits City Hall
