CANAN COMMONS GROUNDBREAKING

Officials will break ground this afternoon on a new park in downtown Muncie. It’ll be called Canan Commons in honor of former Mayor Dan Canan. The park will be mostly open green space across from the downtown YMCA building. City officials hope to host numerous events at Canan Commons, including Ribfest and Muncie Gras.

Officer Released From Hospital; Visits City Hall
