COMPANY CLOSER TO NEW OWNERS

A Delaware County company is closer to having a new owner this morning. The court-appointed receiver for Delaware Machinery says one of the five potential buyers has signed a letter of intent to purchase the metalworking firm. The size of the workforce at Delaware Machinery has moved back up to 85, about 25 more employees than the company had back in February.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
