The Delaware County Commissioners have given fast-track approval to a proposal to create an oversight board for attorneys who represent indigent clients. On Tuesday, the commissioners suspended their rules to give three rounds of approval to the creation of a Public Defender Board. Two of its members will be appointed by Delaware circuit judges, the other by the commissioners.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
