Police in Muncie say someone broke into a church and stole $300 worth of bibles late last week. It happened Friday at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church on South Penn Street. The burglar also stole a laptop computer and printer, a filing cabinet, and a bronze statue of an elephant. One of the three stolen bibles contained family heirlooms belonging to Pastor Aston Chambers, Jr.

Governor Signs Right-To-Work Into Law
02.02.12After a month of protests, walkouts and bitter debate, Indiana will become the 23rd right-to-work state. The Senate gave final approval to right-to-work 28-22, unchanged from the first vote on the bill last month. Governor Daniels signed the bill into law about three hours after the senate vote.
Wednesday Night Crash Kills One
02.02.12A man was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident along Ind. 3 in southern Delaware County.
