POLICE NAB DRIVER IN FATAL CRASH

An Anderson woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash on Labor Day. 45-year old Darla DeBord has been charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Police say DeBord was actually driving the pickup truck that struck a car driven by 64-year old Marilyn Hirsch. DeBord’s brother originally told police he was driving the truck. Police say additional charges are possible in the case.
