Final Henry County School Makes The Switch

The final Henry County area school district has eliminated its traditional calendar. Nettle Creek School Board members unanimously approved switching to a balanced calendar Tuesday night with little discussion. The change shifts the first day of school to Aug. 2 and gives students a one-week break in the fall and two-week breaks in the winter and spring.
