An unresponsive driver was taken to the hospital after he crashed his car into a pole on a county road Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say 23-year-old Marion resident Jack McIlwain was traveling northbound on Grant County Road 400 East, when his car left the roadway and struck a utility pole south of 100 South. His condition was not immediately known.
