The Daleville Community School Board has hired two new teachers for the high school: Sheryl Myers, a retired teacher from Anderson and a naturalist at Mounds State Park, to teach one section of biology 2 for the second semester, and Alexis Wyman to teach English.
In other business, the board agreed to spend just under $20,000 from the rainy day fund to replace the aluminum bleachers for baseball, softball and track. That change is being made to make the seating code-compliant for safety at the recommendation of the schools’ insurance company.
