An Anderson Preparatory Academy administrator remained in the hospital on Wednesday, a day after he was attacked by an enraged parent. APA Commandant Robert Guillaume said that John Hayden was held overnight at Saint John’s Medical Center. Hayden had sustained a severe concussion and was complaining of blurred vision and neck pain. He also suffers from a heart condition. 36-year-old Earl Davenport, admitted to striking Hayden – allegedly because he was upset about his son’s suspension from the basketball team.
