As we first told you yesterday, three students and a bus driver were injured Tuesday morning when a car rear-ended a bus on Muncie’s south side. The accident was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. at Walnut and 13th streets. A bus was traveling southbound on Walnut Street and had stopped to pick up some students at 13th Street when a southbound dark-colored sport-utility vehicle crashed into the back of the bus. Two female students — as well as bus driver — were taken via ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Another male student was later taken by a parent to the hospital, but was not admitted.
