Richmond Charter School Gets New Name/Mission

A charter school in Richmond will open this fall under a new name and revised mission. The “Palladium-Item” reports the Galileo Charter School will become the Kenneth A. Christmon STEMM Academy. STEMM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Media which officials say better reflects the school‘s curriculum. Christmon was a local pastor and founder of the original charter school. The school is sponsored by Ball State University.
