Anderson Woman Dies Of Injuries

An Anderson woman critically injured in a car accident Wednesday at Cross Street And Scatterfield Road has died. 89-year-old Monica Mehling was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital where she was flown for treatment after the accident. According to police, Mehling was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Patricia Mehling when the driver apparently failed to yield the right-of-way and was broadsided.
